Comforting, soothing, relaxing, and beneficial for reducing stress during pregnancy. It helps reduce stretch marks and scar tissue and rejuvenates the skin, improves elasticity and reduces wrinkles. it is particularly soothing to dry, chapped skin and diaper rash. Skin issues improved when using Gentle Baby with Rose Ointment over it.
Ingredients:
Geranium - has been used for centuries for skin care; revitalizes tissue and nerves and has relaxant and anti-inflammatory and anti-infectious effects.
Rosewood - soothing and nourishing to the skin, enhancing skin elasticity and is antibacterial and antifungal.
Lemon - increases microsirculation and lymphatic function; its fragrance is stimulating, invigorating and antidepressant (Komori, et al., 1995).
Lavender - known as the universal oil, it is beneficial for skin conditions such as burns, rashes and psoriasis and prevents scarring and stretch marks; relaxing, brounding and combats depression.
Jasmine - beneficial for dry, greasy, irritated, or sensitive skin; also brings out feminity and helps with depression and nervous exhaustion.
Roman Chamomile - combats restlessness, insomnia, muscle tension and inflammation.
Bergamot - simultaneously uplifting and calming wtih a unique ability to relieve anxiety, stress and tension.
Ylang Ylang - increases relaxation; balances male and female energies; also restores confidence and equilibrium.
Palmarosa - combats candida, rashes and scaly and flaky skin; stimulates new cell growth as it moisturizes and promotes healing; antimicrobial; helps reduce tension and helps recovery from nervous exhaustion.
Rose - used for the skin for thousands of years, it pormotes healthy skin, reduces scarring and promotes elasticity.
Application: Dilute 1 part EO to 1 part vegetable oil; possible sun sensitivity. Diffuse or apply on location for dry, chapped skin or diaper rash. Apply over mother's abdomen, on feet, lower back, face and neck areas. Dilute with vegetable oil for body massage and for applying on baby's skin.
For Pregnancy and Delivery: use for massage throughout entire pregnancy for relieving stress and anxiety, and to prevent scarring and creating serenity. Massage on the perineum to help it stretch for easier birthing.
